MEMBERSHIP

Membership of Gymnastics Northern Ireland is open to any club or school in the country via the submission of the appropriate application form and annual fee. Applicants must be a member of British Gymnastics, or the Northern Ireland Schools Gymnastics Association respectively, prior to applying for their Gymnastics NI affiliation.

The membership year will run from the 1st January to 31st December 2007. Club membership costs £25 and school membership is £15 for the year.

• A copy of the Northern Irish Gymnast each quarter delivered to your club.
• Access to all Gymnastics NI competitive events. Please note that any clubs which are not affiliated to Gymnastics NI may not participate in any Gymnastics NI organised events. Neither can unaffiliated clubs send gymnasts to any competitions at which they will be representing Northern Ireland.
• The opportunity for affiliated clubs’ gymnasts to take part, on selection, in Northern Ireland Squad Training Sessions.
• Membership card.
• Regular updates on the latest events and developments in the sport. Affiliation ensures that your Club is kept up to date with what is happening in Gymnastics in Northern Ireland, plus details of all Coaching, Revalidation and Judging Courses we run.
• Right to vote at an AGM.
• A unique opportunity for gymnasts from affiliated clubs to register their details for promotional opportunities with internal and external organisations. Gymnastics NI get regular enquiries from organisations looking for our gymnasts to take part in advertising campaigns and marketing opportunities.
• Access to the POCVA (Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults) Child Protection Vetting Service for all coaches and volunteers in your club.
